I don't mean to be a wet blanket here, but when using real photographs it is important to make sure (if they aren't images that you photographed) that you have the rights to alter/use them.

Just something that is near and dear to my heart and we should all be mindful of...

This is true, part of the reason why i tried to alter the stock images to the point of not aprearing photo realistic infact. Copywrite infringment on photos altered is something of a fuzzy area. Generally if the modifications to a photo are great enough so that the original author(s) are unable to recognize it, then your ok. This also could raise potential issues with using ingame renders, if the render contains a map, object, ect that the author doesn't give permision to use. It'd be best really if RealityMod.com could provide some high resolution stock renders of it's own for things like weapons, vehicles, fonts, required text, ect ect That the community could use for comp in wallpapers or loading screans.

Another challenge for this particular month (my first) was the focus on the British forces. Because British content hasn't been added (except the medic unlockable weapon) nor could i find any information about what was planned on, there's alot of unknows.. what are the player models going to look like, what vehicles, weapons, and in what color schemes are planned?

I opted for a for a photo that featured a British foot soldier. The original shot contained the main subject leading a line of troops that went into the background. I thought it did a good job of conveying the feeling that the troops were comming enmass. A battle shot would've been nice, but since the forces aren't in the game yet i kind of liked the "comming soon" subtext implied by troops heading to war. Then i hammered home the fact that the troops were infact British with the flag so that the average guy who's not up on military forces didn't have a chance to guess.

I'd say the text is weakest aspect on my entry. I had originally wanted to include a larger high res image of the the "Project Reality" dog tag that's common on the forums, but not finding a good canadate i just threw together something really quick.

they are looking really good, the first one is swedish or danish - which is not in PR?

The second one has a union jack - but a US funeral ............. which is a shame as both are really good.

I would like to see a british sniper one - maybe in Black & White too ??

with a catchy slogan

By the way I do not judge the winner - so dont think I will choose a sniper one if you do it - its not my call ?

Well, I put mine up. It's the first time I have done a full size image like that and I have only been using PhotoShop for 3 weeks so I am still a Newb. Let me know what you think please.
Here is a link to download it...

Hey I noticed on one of those british vehicles (either a tank or an APC with a turret kinda like a bradley), it has slat armor. I didn't know british vehicles had slat armor too. Our strykers were protected all around with it. Just thought that was kinda cool. I loved the stuff. It took the brunt of so many IED's, SVBIED's, and RPG's. I don't think I could go back into theater without it.

If I'm thinking of the right pic, the vehicle is the Warrior APC. It's been modelled and should hopefully appear in the first release, if not before.
