I think that you should remove auto-reload so you have to manually press R for your weapon to reload.
I also think after you detonate a IED you shouldn't automatically be switched to another weapon/remaining IEDs, same goes for RPGs.

yes and no. I like the Idea but it would be a pain in the arse. The DEV's would have to add animations like the Pistils slide staying back when out of ammo and the MG's belts would have to be show they are low on ammo with like the last 10 rounds or w/e

I agree, would be nice.
Nothing better than run into a firefight and instead of the big bang just hear 'click'

(this wasn't sarcasm BTW). Would bring some immersion into the game.
And about the pistol slides: Guess what...hardcoded

.

i play with it off and agree to the suggestion if possible to force it off for every 1. and that is soooo true deadfast i love when that happens !!

the first click seems to sound alot louder and better than the others, but such a small thing dose add to the immersion ALOT

Open a handheld weapon file (any) in the server files and search for a "autoReload". I swear I saw a line named that when I was messing with mini-modding BF2. Haven't tried it though
