they used to stay on the ground a VERY long time if I remember right, but when they began to disapear it looked kinda stupid (half disapeared bodies on the ground). Im not sure why the dev's made them disapear faster, maybe it lagged some people?

if i had to take a guess id say that the bodies disappear so fast so as not to lag the server. but thats just a guess.
