Helo woes with a joystick with the new taxiing code

Since the changes to air assets with the new taxiing mode, I have found that it has made my life more of a pain when flying with a stick.

I use a Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner Pro, which has an integrated throttle. There is no detent (notch in throttle range) in the middle, so it is extremely hard to get zero power for spinning up the rotors and landing is really, really hard.

AFAIK, a lot of sticks are like this, certainly all my TM ones are. They have an "idle" about 10% from the bottom, a "MIL" (Full Military Power) about 30% from full power, and that is it. This is, IMHO, better. You need little, if any "reverse" - it is only needed for taxiing or to lose hight real quick. Can we maybe have it set thus or an option to change where the "middle" is?

Maybe you should just handle the speed or engine use (%) with W & S.. helped for me..

Try leaving your Joystick throttle on the area needed to hover (about 20-25%)

Use W+S to make changes in power.

been trying to fix this since 0.6. I'll resume some gear tests ect. Easily side tracked right here.

For me, there is no point in flying if I have to use the keyboard. Ruins the experience IMHO...

If this was fixed and TrackIR implimented, if only for air vehicles, I would be one happy bunny ;)
