I know this may be abit premature. But cant the Officer get a Full Auto M4a1? Unless it's not realistic then go right ahead and lock.

army infantry officers are issued single/burst M4's, just like the soldiers they lead. don't know why PR's squad leader kit is called "Officer" and has a sidearm...most likely the devs want the SL to actually represent Lt and Squads to actually represent platoons.

M4A1 is used by SF

not realistic, not that sencefull (since one 3 round burst should kill an enemy on short ranges and on long you will use single shot anyways, and in hands of normal soldiers, full auto is simply waste of ammo)

=> now you have the reason to get this thread locked

I hope there are some distinct changes between Marines and Army kits on maps that are Army. If not changes in kit roles, perhaps changes in kit load outs.

Makes me wonder what kind of firearms each branch uses that is not used by the other. Also vehicles will obviously be different such as the Stryker or Bradley fighting vehicle instead of the APCs used. Stuff like that.

Handheld weapons:
ARMY:
M4, M24, M110
USMC:
M16 M40, M14

Vehicles:
ARMY:
Stryker, Bradley, Blackhawk, Apache
USMC:

yeah, MPART and ACU, same pattern, but the army uses one for all in olive/grey while the USMC still uses a desert and a Woodland variant
