Thanx Very much Black Fly. Yeah it worked. You need to completely remove BF2 and PR. All of it. Re-install Bf2, 1.41 Patch, PR Core, .75 Patch, .75 Maps. Takes a while, but it got there.
FYI Im running Vista only 32-bit.

well i have tried this fix a few times now and no joy for me unfortunately! i think there must be more to it than a uninstall reinstall.
i install bf2 first then patch then pr then patch then pr levels, i restart after each stage is well but still get the same error message about not having bf2 check your directorys.
i have pr installed in the default location like you should and also bf2 in the default location.
pr is in a mods folder inside the bf2 folder, is this the same place as everyone else's pr installation place?
anyone else with any idea's ? i have uninstalled reinstalled 3 times not and it does take ages each time.
hope someone can help

I would "Aquire" some type of Registry cleaner, Reg Cure, PC Doctor. Something like that. Also, for my install I chose not to create a desktop icon till I lastely installed the .75 Maps. Hope this helps......
