I was reading a thread about how hamyong was a slobbernocker, and it made me think of previous maps, two of which I cant remember their names.

First was an awesome map with MEC and USMC. It was a coastal 'city' and the US had to assault via carrier, I always used to ambush the littlebirds that tried to land. It had a mosque. The whole map reminded me of that Old desert combat map, where the main part was a dock with a boat, and two crane things.

The other was a desert map with quite low draw distance, dust I guess. A fun chokepoint was like this big gorge. Other parts , I think the mec stronghold, had a trench system + watch towers.

1. Muttrah City: Muttrah City v.2 is being made by Rhino.
2. Al Fallujah: Was too small/spammy.

Everyone says that Muttrah reminds them of that a DC map, seen screenies of it on the net (after i finished muttrah 1) thou I've never played it

The desert map was a pleasant clusterfuck break

Well, I liked falluajah because you needed to break trough the gate in order to get to that flag. you could go around but thats another story. I remember civies just going by the gate and once the usmc blows it they get massive point deduction.
