does the driver see what the gunner sees?

Iv had this lingering question where me as the driver, manage to spot a target and point it out, even giving out a range, but the gunner, looking at the degrees i gave does not see what i see. Is the only difference the elevation? Also when firing at great distance, i see hits that are misses, and vice versa, and its difficult to get my gunner to adjust his fire. Like i see a shell hit just above the enemy tank but in his hud it was a hit. It gets me confuzzled a bit. Anybody else get that problem?
PS: Anybody else get the itchy feeling that for shouting command we should definitely have one that says "Cease Fire!!" Instead of yelling negative 300 times.
Also, a Stop or let me get out command when in a transport vehicle instead of the bail out, lol.

I belief there is a visual bug.
If the gunner fires a shell at a tank in the distance, the drivers sees the shell fly over the tank while the gunner can see it hits. I don't know if its with every tank but it is with the abrams.

Yea people keep telling me this when I say your missing dude, he says no but I think its a combination of the two because the server decides which shots actually hit based on ping vs hitbox, etc

Driver's view is a little higher than the gunner's one. I've had a couple of misunderstandings because of that

.
And yea, that'd be great that the hit visual bug is fixed for 0.8

That happens to me as well. If im the gunner and I see a hit the driver says that the shot was a bit higher than in my view. Then the driver gets scared thinking I didnt hit anything when im just about to destroy the enemy tank. I dont know why does it happen but Its kind of annoying.

lol on fools road one time, i wished it was just a bug, my gunner kept missing the scimitar with the tank. i dont know how he just keeps going over it. every single shot missed, we switched seats cause there were only 5 shells left and i killed it with 1 in the turret. i think it's cause my gunenr was firing using the the top of the virticle bar to aim where he should have been using the top of the chevron above said bar.

Slight change of subject but has anyone experienced bouncing tank shells? I once fired at the bonnet of a commander truck and I watched the shell bounce off the truck and to the side to hit a friendly car next to it

I noticed that in the BMP3 driver position I kept seeing all the shells miss, yet my gunner told me that he hit the target.

I love the bug, please keep it.

Drivers should trust and work together with their gunners not be loud, annoying and bossy. Teamwork people, it sounds like a lot of you are the type of people I'm talking about. -.-
