hello guys

i would like to know what the equipment of the us army will be because i just know they will be in 0.8 but whats diffrent between USMC and US army?

can somebody say that or is it still a secret of the devs?


p.s. maybe its already asked, but i dont find something about that.

No secret, they will have rifles, pistols, grenades, knifes, lmg's, tanks, helicopters and transport vehicles. Hope that helps ;}

-The M4 will be their main rifle(not the automatic rifle).

-The M249 with be their light machine gun.

-They will be used the AT4 and SRAW.

-They use the humvee(like the Marines), stryker(not like the Marines who use the LAV 25) and M1A2(like the Marines).

-They will use different camo.

-They will use the UH-60(Marines use the UH-1N).

As far as i know thats pretty much all the basic gear you will see them hauling around.

Also, they use Strykers (which are armed with .50 MG's using the CROWS thing) and Bradly's (got cannon and TOW).

And of course Apaches instead of Super Cobras.

And they'll be backed up by the USAF rather than having their own organic fast movers (much like the current US forces on Kashan) unlike the USMC (which will presumubly have the F-18 & AV-8B as their primary support aircraft in future releases of PR)

sound sexy, but is the M4 with acog??

besides the thingy that I dont understand why the DEVs would put up all the effort to model, skin and code for an armed forces branch of an already existing nation..
what would the differences be? if theres a carrier on the map its marines when not its army?

Here ya can see the US ARMY in action equiped with M4s(ACOG optics), M249 SAW(ECLAN optics), knee-pads, night-vision/googles, sun glasses, tactical vests, etc.. By the way, you can see a Stryker M2-mounted CROWS in the left background. Just like already mentioned, it's the official armoured troop transporter of the US Army.

I think the M4 will indeed have an Acog so i'm happy cos COD4 just doesn't hack it...

From what I can remember:
US Army standard rifle will be a M4 (Not M4A1) with M68 Close Combat Optic. This will be the rifle given to Medics, engineers, etc.

Rifleman (Optic), Officer will receive a M4 w/ ACOG
Grenadier: M4w/ACOG+M203
Spec Ops- M4A1 w/ EoTech

Marksman- M14
Sniper- M24 or M110
Support- M249 SAW
Light Transport- HMMWV
Medium Transport (APC)- Stryker
Heavy Transport (IFV)- Bradley (Hopefully)
MBT- M1A2 Abrams
AAV: Avenger
Light Attack Helo- Kiowa or LB
Light Trans Helo- MH6
Heavy Attack Helo- AH-64(D?)
Medium Trans Helo- MH-60A/L
Heavy Trans Helo-MH-47
Fighter Jet- F16
Ground Attack Jet- A10

Once the split happens, I'd think Marines would look like:

is the M4 burst/semi like M16A4 , is that why everyone is posting saying M4(not M4A1)?

Yeah, the M4 is Single or Burst, M4A1 is single or full auto.

yes, i think so. Like the one in the crewman kit (just with new model)
