Out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in having throwback nights? LIke once a month we pick a past version of PR, everyone reinstalls to the neccesary BF2 patches and PR files, and plays for a night or two?

Im sure we'd have some old-timers willing to relive memories and new guys wondering what it was like back then. Perhaps a good excuse to dust off the GloryHoundz server as well. If any DEVs/PUBs/Server Hosters are interested in helping organize, send me a PM.

I would be interested. Depends on how many people sign up.

i wouldnt repatch, but i would play everything from 1.4 onward.

.4 or .5, those are the versions that stood out to me the most.

personaly i would love to see a retro map pack released. there are a lot of old good maps out there that i am sure can be reworked and tweaked to fit the current play style. or even if the current version can be set up to handle the old maps, like the aas2. but hey, i am just guessing. if it where that easy i guess it would have been done long ago.

i still go back and play the first medal of honor for the ps1 from time to time. the graphics are old but the game is still great.

That'd be my hope. Prolly Forum-goer only for extra teamwork/easier organization. Most likely a Saturday during every month.

I would love the chance to play some older versions. 0.5 basrah sounds like it would rock.

-I do still have all the PR version install files on my PC but I may be too lazy to do something like this.

put steel thunder in there, it was one of the great maps.
