Over the past month I have been (very) busy making a bunch of new statics for [R-DEV]Dr Rank's Sangin map which you can find a WIP topic of it here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f225-m ... n-wip.html

The main reason for this is because the current Afghan statics are not that realistic for the Sangin region, but mainly because of the scale of the map and the limitations we have with destructible buildings set by the engine the current ones we have just cant meet the needs of the map.

So here we have over 100 new statics objects that I have made that will give ranky and other mappers who may wish to use these statics a huge amount of flexibility in these statics to make compounds how ever they like :D

These also aint all of them, I've still got quite a few more bits to make, but this will give you a good idea of whats coming :D

Some of the props you may recognize, this is because some of them are remakes of matt.b's prop statics which where part of the main statics, but these are separate objects that the mapper can put where ever he likes, how he likes :D

Hope you like them, cheers!

Looking good. one question, are these destructible as well? tbh, Im not a big fan of destructibles all over a map because like you said, the engine limitations. Was just wondering if these were destructible as well.

If they arent, theyd make a nice addition to large maps that cant very well consist of nothing but destructibles[as theyd quickly go over the limit].

Sorry if you said it in the post, Its late and Im tired. I just read something about the old destructibles and didnt know if that meant these were or werent :P

Unrealistic? Bloody bo**ocks, I was so sure I saw them on Ross Kemp in Afghanistan...

But some of the walls in the pictures you posted seem to have them, though. Quite low, but still. Something to shoot over when crouching and hide behind when lying down.

It depends what region you are in, in the Sangin region you dont see many at all, some of thous pics above are not from the sangin region also, just they where the best pics i had to show off some bits like the roof bits etc.

Ross Kemp was only in the Sangin region for a short time and I think the scene where he was on the roof was in some other place than Sangin.
