I was thinking over some stuff for the mod and then it hit me, some times for transport a Dutch Chinook or US black hawk is unavailable on the route between Kandahar Airport and Tarin Kowt, helicopters are rented from private company's to do that task, these usualy are Mi-8's

How about putting this one in painted in a white UN livery on some maps?

The model is done allready and ingame, just need a simple reskin!

Like i said above sometimes there are no other helicopters available and then these are rented from the Ukraine.

Its the idea of working with assets from various army's how do you think all that equipment came to afghanistan, not with the few Hercules we have, they use contracted Antonov Airlines An-124's for that.

The idea for the model is not to replace the chinook, would never dream of that, but to complement it on large air assault maps if we ever make one.

It does make sense. If the Chinook isn't available yet, we could use a "contracted MI-8" as a placeholder, sort of?

Does it have weapons in the side doors?

The PR model has door guns, we could strip it of weapons to balance. What we also can do is use it as a static on large airfields.

Yeah i also wanted to sugest that one, if you can make it static in UN colors it would look good on the larger airfields, they are mostly very empty. (just like the antonov on basrah).

and i was thinking,, the dutch navy byed the new NH 09 ore how ever you write it,, but they are gana keep the lynx helicopter for the special marine's the SBS forcers,,, because the lynx helicopter is the quickest and most manouvrebel transport chopper in the world, so maybe we must youse that chopper,, and the british navy even put rockets on it

you its in youre Bf2v folder or PR folder unzip both objects client and server zip and you shut find it
