Ircraft handleing changes based on damage?

I don't know if this has been asked before so if so please just lock the post. But hae the developers looked into makeing aircraft have harder time turning, and pulling up out of a dive if their aircraft is at half health? I know we have tanks/APCs, and even jeeps that can break down and need fixing to get back in the game for their troops. But I think it would help alot if aircraft had at least some type of penalty for not going back for a repair on the runway, both jets and choppers.
It would mean if you take too much damage and have smoke from your jet engine as is often the case with jets in PR after heavy combat, or a bad bombing run. That they would start to like vere to the right or left after you let up on the stick, or controls. The game has a simler system for ground vehicles that are about to blow up, so aircraft should have to deal with the same thing IMHO.
It would mean less people flying around with 4 bars of health on their jet and more pilots doing what they would do in real life. IE bail out and ditch and hope for a rescue, or have to hoof it back to base.
I know alot of hardcore pilots would hate this idea but I'm just tossing it out there that if your jet or chopper has smoke out it's rear end thats a bad thing and you should have a harder time menuvering, or even be forced to ditch the aircraft to save your own life, or your crew.
