I made this becuase I thought alot lately about if people would leave PR even temporarily to play BF: Bad Company; BF:3; or BF: Heroes.
I was worried at first(thought Fierce comptition ahead)
Then I realized most won't leave for Vanilla(realized it was more like a Farce competitor)

Anyways, I was just wondering about how many people will leave PR for a new Vanilla(and have their hearts broken by another bummer by DICE, the EA puppet)

How many will leave only temporarily and check it out(PR fan)

and how many will not even turn their heads to give the other Battlefields a good look!(good fo you, true PR fan)

I have enough room on my harddrive to install more than one games, so it's not like I'm going to uninstall PR to try BF:H.

Both are a completely different genre of FPS, so if you feel like goofing around you will play BF:H and if you feel like intense tactical action, you are going to play PR.

meh i might try bf:3 for about 10 sec then find out its just as gay as vbf:2 and run screaming back to PR.

PR all the way.......... nothing else compares

If you guys are honest, you'd probably find the novelty and coolness of a new game like BF3 to be pretty damn cool, and play it for like 200 hours before you started to get sick of it at all.

As for me, maybe by the time BF3 comes out (considering it hasn't even been announced or confirmed and is just a myth that is at *least* 1 whole year away if not 2) I might have a good enough computer to play PR.

When BF3 comes out on pc i would probably check it out. But i wont leave pr.

but I agree with the first reply, they are both different games in heart. I play PR and Tf2 and find my self coming back to both of them. It is hard (and stupid) to play only one game. You miss out on a lot of fun, with having PR being such a serious game.

I will always come back to PR because I will never leave it, I think this game is perfection and is the game for me.

same, ill try it, but i play PR, 2142, COD 4 but mainly PR, so if i drop 2142 and COD 4, then BF 3 and heroes can take there place. But i would deffo play BF 3 just for Frostbite

Most people play more then one mod! But this mod has a big enough fan base to hold onto it, and when BF2 drops in price, you may get more fans. BF1942 still has mods going on it!

I bought BF2 with no expansions for $10. I thought it was a good deal, then I tried PR and it felt like I should've paid more.

I'm not really hyped for BF3 but BF:H looks interesting but shouldn't take too much PR time away.

the only reason i would leave PR is if it got ported to BF3 *WINK* *WINK* *NUDGE* *NUDGE*

My gut tells me EA will shut down the login servers once they release bf3, just to make us go there.

Bad company is, but bf3 is PC according to leaked info a few months ago.

I will come and go with PR as new games, from several genres come out. e.g. when Empire total war comes out you probably won't be seeing me for at least a week haha

Whether or not BF3 takes its place amongst the great annals of my hard drive, will depend on the quality of its demo.

i like the look of ArmA2 but having never played the original i dont know that they play like but the trailers for it look sweeeet, oh and OFP2
