Love the new updates to the site, like the live chat implemented seamlessly into the page. No need to login separately, either. Once you're logged in the site, you're hooked up to the messenger. Not good for those stealth types that make themselves Invisible, but who are you hiding from on a gaming site anyways?

The Battle Arena

This will be a ladder match captained by admins on the server. We'd like to get enough players to have four 20 man teams.

Thanks. The site is undergoing a major revamp so things will be in a state of flux for a while, but it will be changes you will like I assure you.

I think the server needs to go easy on the kicks. I was kicked for killing someone who was tking my squad members just because I kicked him from the squad. I was then kicked again for asking why? If you are going to kick for that kind of little stuff, make sure it is in big red letters before you enter the server or loosen up on it, especially since my squad was defending me.

We need more players for the Battle Arena Tournament.

I really learned to love the server because I really got to learn the game from it. I like insurgency and since it repeats it, I got to get used to the game kinda quick. Good server my ping is AMAZING here, at an average of 30 or 25. Besides some rather rare instances of harsh lag, some server issues and one or two over-reactionary or contradictory admins, a really great server.

love the server, hate that everyone is booted off every round (but i know that isnt your fault) and i look forward to seeing more maps on rotation when 0.8 comes out!

can we please get operation archer in rotation

^^ Op. Archer has some more crash probs than Al Basrah, and BattleArena4's servers, which are Linux, have even more probs with the map. Hopefully, it will be fixed in .8

No, their admins will watch these topic too, im 100% sure but they just dont want to say why or dont have a reason.

And I did get kicked once by Speedquest from BR, recently. Haven't checked whether I got banned, too. Gotta check that. But BR is the server I play normally the most often.

Btw, crazy, I do have an account with the Battlearena Forums, but I can't log in, no matter what ffs I try to do.

BattleArena is a good server. I admit, the admins ruffle my feathers every now and then but all in all they aren't completely unfounded in their punishments. Not to mention that the players on there often deserve what they get.

We let alot of things fly that other servers don't, then again we also ban a lot more than other servers do. We ban to give players the opportunity to read the rules. While we do ban at the drop of a hat, we also remove bans pretty easily if you are an existing forum member. New members who's first post is "unban me you jerks" usually take a bit longer to be removed.

It's funny how people will complain that servers don't have admins on enough and then turn around and complain that they are too many bans. What I can tell you is that we are usually full and if it wasn't for the bugs in the map we would probably always be full.

New maps will be in rotation once .8 is out provided they are more stable than Basrah is now.
