has anyone hear ever had to use EA support?? it realy suck!! i went out and bought the BF2 complete collection after EA @#@#ed me over on the BF2142 northern strike. so i thought now this time EA not going to ripe me off again i was wrong. the dame CD keys don't work and the EA online support wont do anything if for you did its not the "EA store" copy they just keep deleting my Q and post on it and there so called from your BF2 book
"if you need to talk to somone immediately, call us at (650) 628-1005 Please have the EAsy info report printed and ready extra..... " oh and try to call it and see for your self what im talking about
all you get is a BOT that tell you to go to ea.com online support. what a load of #@! that is. EA needs to step up and pervade real customer serves after all most of there games are not cheep.
EA really need to fix there support.

Actually, they don't. Despite their crappy service and crappy games, people keep buying them, and EA keeps getting richer. As a result, they have no financial incentive to provide expensive customer service. They've already made their money when you bought the game... do you think they care about your satisfaction?
So why do people keep buying their games? Three fold:
- EA doesn't actually make games; they buy the studios of already-successful games then pump out cheap sequel knockoffs. People buy the sequels hoping it will be as good as the original.
- Most first-time and second-time purchasers of EA games have no idea about the above, and if they do, they keep buying EA games anyway because all their friends have it and don't want to be left out.
- The preferred game style of young players (ages 10-20) is the fast, run'n gun, twitch FPS shooter which happens to be product EA sells.
So if we want to blame someone for EA's crappy games/service, we have only to blame ourselves for dumping money from our checkbooks into theirs.

yeah...sig way to big, even just the tag is to big. Take it all off. EA doesn't give 2 shits about bf2, let alone a mod for it. Get real, they're in the business of making money, and unless PR pays EA beacoup bucks, there will be NO EVER NEVERRRR, no support of the mod or game.

Haven't bought an EA game since BF2 and if it hadn't been for PRM I would have considered that a rip off.
Now don't even bother looking at a game if it has the EA logo anywhere in the adds or package and don't intend to.
Their problem is they are all about the bottom line and share dividends with virtually no customer support.

EA still makes money because people are idiots. Record gas prices and despite the fact that apparently GM has seen a 27% decrease in SUV sales that still means a LOT of people are buying the biggest gas guzzlers during the highest period of premium for gasoline...
Just cause you have money doesn't mean you have to spend it like an idiot. Apparently the nouveau rich think that the only way to look wealthy is to deplete your coffers as fast as possible and become homeless like the Romanovs.

HAHA, I bought 2142...Sealed and from a game store, but apparently some key gen. or something hit the same code before I got a chance.
2142 links your key with your account, so I couldn't even play the game. I figured it sucked..but oh well they will fix it.
Call support and explain and the guy says "Ok, well here it is: I don't think you really bought this game..."
Why would I call tech support if my key generator didn't work?
I was so amazed that they would have a flawed system like that...Then accuse me of trying to steal their game, and lying to them. So I basicly told the guy I couldn't believe he would have the balls to try and call out a paying customer like that...He seemed kinda stunned then told me EA could sell me a replacement key.
They definitely are there to help

EA's new slogan:
Its not in the game.
I hope they will never take over Rockstar!
Sorry, saw this and was like... ironic considering the mammoth way Rockstar screwed up GTA IV at the beggining
