[Help!] 3dsmax drag and drop problem

i dont know the functions name but i if i want to drag and drop a polygon or edge or vertex with shift i clone it. but before it, it had not cloned, before it did made a new polygon etc to the element and now it always want to copy where i can change it back?

I'll try to help you, but can you rewrite your question. I having a hard time understanding it. I have a idea but a little better explanation will help me help you.
When you Clone/copy a polygon it copies into the same objects. Here are three ways to copy.
Shift drag
1. "Clone to Object" - This will copy an polygon into a new object
2. "Clone to Element" - This will copy an polygon into the same object

i made some screenshot what happen when i press shift + left mouseklick:
bildupload.sro.at - Bild anzeigen: 1-prob1.JPG Prob 1 with the polygon
bildupload.sro.at - Bild anzeigen: 2-prob2.JPG prob 2 the vertex
the 3 prob are the edges i cant drag and drob them it always stop the process

Are you trying to extrude to top or extrude the vertices's?

i dont know what you mean but first time i installed shift+leftmouseklick got the function what you see in the video and i showed at the picture what is happening by my 3dsmax.

What you're trying to do only works with open edges. 1 edge can only have 2 polygons. You should first delete the polygon making surrounding edges open, then you can drag them to create new polygons. Or you can use extrude.
