No this is not another, omfg paint it black, its so 1337 and its BlacHawk down. These pics were all taken by me yesterday. A little inf on the blackhawk shown.

Unit:Old Ironsides Division, Medical, Massachusetts National Guard.
Age:2 Years
Tours:Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Damage:2 AK-47 Rounds to rear, 1 through front glass.(Both repaired)
Crew:6(2 Pilots, 2 Air Medics
Top Speed:165 mph

As you can see the whole thing is a dark green camo, which is used in both desert and woodland areas. the inside is gray(Outside of now BlackHawks)

pilots. 1 hour talking. here is a few question I asked them:

How easy is it to take down a UH-60 BlackHawk?:

Not easy, the armor is strong enough to keep most out. We are still careful though.

How long is the warmup time?:

About 2 Minutes of warmup. 1-2 minutes after that were in air and off.

What does the "Live Lift" do?

The Live Lift is used to pull wounded soldiers out of alleys to off roofs, We even can land snipers that way.)

This is the woodland skin I belive, and flying over a desert with a green chopper is strange.

But a re-skin would be welcomed.

That's not a USAF Pavehawk. It's an Army NG HH-60L (formerly designated UH-60Q) air ambulance.

Ya i guess some pesky insrgent put a Ak round through that area. But thats a great camo type. Looks the same as the vBF2 woodland hummers.

Damn. The luscious green park makes me miss Masssachussetts. Damn it Soucy!

The only thing I have seen close to a desert camouflage scheme on the H-60 is the Australian paint scheme. Otherwise, it seems that the Army lets the dust do the work, since apparently it sticks to everything over there.

I would love to somehow see a Medevac helo be implemented into the insurgency gamemode. If it can land and heal a squad etc. The team gains a certain amount of tickets and so on. But yes I do agree that the BH needs a major reskin.

Yea, medevac would be a great addition.

The IDF mod team have reskined their chopper, if theirs is more realistic than what we currently have- could it be a placeholder?

Well theirs is desert so i dont think we could use it as woodland camo.

Absolutely beautiful pics Soucy. Like many above I think a Medical Blackhawk would be a great idea. I'm not quite sure what the Live Lift system is, I think judging from the name it's some kind of harness, would it be possible to implement something similar in BF2, or does the engine prohibit it?

Lift System:It allows them to pull troops 1 by 1 to safety or rescue people in the US from floods and stuff. They said it was also used once or twice to drop ammo for men on a rooftop.

I could probably finish it up tomorrow. Fix rotor colour, all the grey bits, add more detail, dirt, damage etc.

USI has a beautiful BHawk...

Not bad pride, the wheels are black and it needs more lighter colors of grey.
