Apparently it is.... Man somebody had a sense of humor, and loads of time on their hands.

Do these pop up when you put a mine, or is it possible for a commander to place the marker?

You can optionally set the marker when setting a mine. Hold down Q and press Mines. Skull marker should appear.

Commanders can set these like Landing Zones. These things spammed can really disrupt the map.

Is this the BF2 version of a Rorschach inkblot test?

cuz if it is, I'm sure I can Worf from star trek........

I find I can only set one at a time, setting another removes my last warning or maybe thats changed

this could be used to draw on the map/minimap, it would just be alot of little dots placed down. i suggested this before but it was ignored...

now we know where ur squad members are doing when ur pinned down , LOL
