molotov cocktail instant added 30sec spawn time?

I tested it a few times when i die to a Molotov cocktail i have to wait 30 added sec to spawn I looked for this in the forums only seen the bug with tank/apc
i was killed by a molotov cocktail that was thro at the ground in front of a stone building it came throw the wall and killed me and i had 30 sec added to my spawn timer not sure if its the hahaha you died to a fire molotov cocktail
or it counting it as a suicide like i believe
is dieing on foot to a molotov cocktail counted as self suicide?

hmmm maybe... I guess it is... because you are getting killed by the fire effect and the engine may not be considering it as a weapon from an enemy soldier. I don't think we can fix that the way the molotov is right now.

Just take away the suicide from fire [if you can]... whens the last time you killed yourself on accident by fire compared to a molotov? And imo, Id rather have the molotov kill timer work correctly and let a few tards get by without their 30 seconds when they jump into a static fire
Well, maybe theyre about equal, but Id say screw the suicide penalty here if possible and just make fire a normal death.
That is, of course, if it is possible... but meh.

idk if its been brought up before, but its not really a bug in the sense that theres a mistake in PR coding. Its just that any time a soldier is killed by fire, bf2 goes ahead and assigns a suicide[if that is in fact what it is] Meh, I guess its a 'bug'

I've seen the same spawn penalty when crashing in vehicles.
Or sometimes at death through explosion of nearby vehicles.

As it should be, when crashing in a vehicle methinx.
Is it possible to make the splash damage from a vehicle exploding after burning out count as a kill to the guy that killed said vehicle? As being given 'suicide time' added to your spawn seems unfair, maybe.

Being killed in the own vehicle (not suicide), and because of this taking minus point + added time delay is a bit annoying
