So are we or are we not allowed to use statics from special forces, and the booster packs?
I know hfett is using it in his new map that he posted about for IDF (he is using that big palace)

You are, as far as I know, allowed to use them. Basrah uses the big palace among other maps...

point for you, yes and also some houses that look like ones from normal bf2 are actually from SF because in this versions you do not fall throug the balkony

Yes its from SF, I just called it the wrong thing.

I know this because it needed lightmap files that EA didnt include. Thats why all SF type objects wont have the proper[at all] lightmaps.

you can tell whih ones are from the booster pack, because it says xpack in the static list - most of them are at the bottom of the list. The air control tower, fuel tanker and haybale are also from the xpack.

id like to see those animated wind turbines that were in op smokescreen in euroforce. they would be cool, Op smokescreen was my fave map in VBF2, wonder if you canm guess why?

Actually,the "palace" on Basrah,is the Asylum static from BF2:SF.It's not from PR...
The A-10 is from USI. (U.S. Intervention mod)

what is in PR you can use. Thou the SF objects do not have any LM samples so you cant generate any LMs for them, unless you LM your map in max.

So, is it due to legal or technical reasons that the carrier from Iron Gator can't be used?
I've never played SF btw, dunno how realistic Gator's carrier is...

Well,you can actually walk around the whole thing...Gator carrier is pretty nice...
engine room,mess hall,ammo room,etc...

would be nice to use it along with the vbf2 carrier to simulate the remains of a carrier battlegroup and have them battle it out with the russians.. make 1-2 control points be on the SF carrier.. or MEC trying to steal radioactive material or whatever.

You can use but it will be a pain in the *** to lightmap (i removed all the SF statics from my map besides the basrah palace)
You will have to learn 3dmax lightmaping i think
Also the warlord palace i removed because it was kind bugged
