New Weapons Suggestion

I will come right out and say it, I am a big fan of the TV show Stargate and I love how they integrate militaristic tactics with "alien technology" but this past week, since I am out of school now, I have been watching the box sets and I thought of a new main weapon for the USMC. SG-1 never seems to go anywhere without a P90. So I was thinking that if possible that the PR devs could make the USMC main weapon be a P90 but that the M16 with the M203 is still the kit for the Grenadier and that maybe the Combat Engineer could have a SPAS12 shotgun wich would be much more effective that the current shotgun available which seems to be only good enough for 3 feet in fron of you by which time you get close enough to an enemy you are already dead. Not that I only used the shotgun at a distance because I ran out of ammo with my main gun and had to resort to the shotgun and as I saw an enemy retreat I thought I could get him but whn I was maybe 10 feet away i shot and missed at which he turned and killed me.
