Hello there mate, welcome to the mod and forums

Unfortunately pretty much everything to do with VOIP is hardcoded, that is to say that the mod team can't do anything about it.

also, remember to check the already suggested suggestions sticky to make sure ur idea hasn't been suggested already.

The FH2 effect is pretty cool, we'll have to wait an see about that one. Since one of their devs sorted PR's suppression effect I can see the same effect coming to PR.

edit- Thought i'd mention how much I miss the local chat from Joint Operations, where every1 in 100m could see what ur writing...those were the days.

both have been suggested. PR effects are made from a FH2 dev(I think) and the VOIP stuff is hardcoded.

Theres hope for the suppression effect? My oh my, that's some of the best news I've heard in some time. I think I can relax abit now and stop pulling my hair out. Who knows, I may even be able to log off the forums for once to go back playing the game without worrying about what's going on behind the scenes for the next patch.

Now if we can only purge those one man armorer's from PR and we'll be back on track.

sorry, colloquialism - I meant the suppression effect was made by the FH2 dev who made it for FH2.

But do not despair, although I cannot link the actual thread, I recall that the suppression effect will indeed be modified significantly, especially in the realm of CQB.

Yeah, I remember that thread. It was posted awhile back (Like 1-2 months ago?) then I proceeded to add my opinion in and a day or so later it disappeared. I guess they either finished it thier own way, or I pissed the guy off for offering my suggestion on how the suppression effect should really work.

Like having the "suppression effect" triggered on how many shots landing in a certain area around you rather than it occuring as soon as a bullet lands in your area. Essentially having 3 or more shots landing within 4 meters of you in under 1 second, then theoretically you should be "suppressed". Not half-blind because of one guy plinking random shots at you 300 yards away...

Oh well. I guess I'll have to settle for getting rid of those one man armorers then.
