Thank You PR

Im probably one of the older players around here 37 (cough cough) I started playing BF2 about a year and a half ago. I really enjoyed the online play (that is the first time I played games online)and got hooked very quick. I have been deployed to Iraq for the last year and found out about PR while is was over here. I went home on R&R the first of May and downloaded it and what a blast! I truly enjoyed the team work and realism. I have about three months left over here and cant wait to get back so I can play again on a regular basis. Im sure I played with some of you guys as the PR community is alot smaller than BF2V so I wanted to say thank you for the good time. When I get back in about three months im going to look for a clan to join so I can play with some regular guys and develope teamwork. If anybody has a recomendation Im a mature player so-so skills but very loyal to team and serious about winning and willing to follow orders. Now I just have to figure out how to convince my 7 year old son that this is daddies computer!

hehe glad you enjoyed it
Clan wise the ABA, Active British Army clan is probably right up your street, PM [R-DEV]UK_Force about that.
As for convincing your son, get him a computer might help?

Ya [ABA] is the way to go for clans if your in the UK armed forces. And happy you enjoy the whole mod, i know the [R-Dev]'s, [R-Con]'s, have worked hard to give everything teh best amount of work and detail as a modern Studio like DICE maybe can do. The [R-Mod]'s for keeping forums clean and the [R-Pub] team for expanding the player base and overall popularity of the mod it self.
@Rhino:Why don't u get him a computer for his son?

Welcome to the forums, mate!
Good to know that the older, more mature (hopefully

) guys like the mod, as those are sort of the target of the mod. And more military people = more realism. Hope you stay with us!

Welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
If you want to enjoy the PR as it's meant to be played, the
Project Reality Tournament is great alternative to a clan

Thank you PR !
We don't say it enough. We are always complaining about something and we still want more but we forget we are having really good times with the game (witch the only resemblance with the original is the broken engine).
Keep it good work !

He's probably a member of the US armed forces though, I don't think we have troops deployed in Iraq.

Located in the heart of Bavaria, the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach provides base support services to military personnel and their families in the Ansbach, Katterbach, and Illesheim communities.

No none in Iraq. I have had the pleasure to train for Afgahnistan with the fine Soldiers of the Bundeswehr's 750th ABC Bn.
