For whatever reason BF2 crashed when I tried to get on the server that was set up to play like it so I had to settle for normal BF2 again. The people who play are, generally speaking, the stupidist players I've ever met. One game I was seemingly the only man who knew how to look up and atack a chopper. Nobody even got into the damn aa once that I saw. Next at karkland 64 I was the only guy who was defending the rear bases. I kept screaming for help yet nobody came. I did hold back an entire squad made up of a clan back until the very end of the game. I have to say I kicked *** on my part. I took out probably around 10 peices of armour as they atacked. I also killed them over and over and over and over but they were persistant. They ended up getting up on the tall warehouse overlooking the flag and remained up there until they killed me at which point they would jump off. I still held em off for a good few minutes and they finally got the flag. My team suddenly started to spawn like crazy to get the flag back, but it was the end of the game and we lost. Just venting a pretty frustrating few rounds at you guys.

What is your problem connecting to the server exactly? I may be able to help.

I might have forgot to change the port, though I've never had to do that before. I'll give that a try and get back to you if that's what it was.
For whatever reason though, the game just crashed on me and tried to reload. I'm assuming this wasn't a vanilla server so maybe it crashed and just didn't reload if it was a mod.

The server is running Vanilla BF2, and is simply server-side modded. You shouldn't need to download or do anything to connect. It worked fine for me and everyone else I saw on the server, although I do have a friend who is having the same problem.
But yea, you do need to have the correct port. If you're trying to enter 16567, then you're going to be connecting to the PRMM server, which of course, dosn't work.
