Occured on battlearena server running Al Basrah awhile ago. I think I was on the mg before the molotov was thrown, if that helps.

Since its counted as a vehicle and you cant be hurt by the fire when in vehicles, this happens:/

Molotovs destroy vehicles anyways dont they, warrior and the like. This is more than likely a bug? that said i'v never seen a stationary MG blow up.

You can waste them with heavy fire (gunship MG, tank direct hit, C4)

As far as i am aware you cant make Mounted weapons kits. They are catagorised the same way vehicles are in the editor. But might be able to alter the AOE flames to hurt passangers.

any word on a fix for this?

I do believe I've had a BBQ related death whilest on the mg, mebbe summin else at work here contributing to the bug... any star trek mods conflicting with PR giving people forcefields?

You could have the fire emit small explosions (no visual) with a very short range (to not exceed the flames themselves).

i usually burn to death on MG's...

I tested this on PR_SP_08 and I manage to pop people on MG plenty. Not sure what could be causing it.
