I remember when you shot a guy and blood splatter would go spraying out of his wounds now I can't really tell if I even hit him. I realy miss blood effects... would be nice if bleeding people had blood trails too

i kinda liked em, but it was sometimes stupid seeing all this blood like splatter lol. It should come back but a little toned down, like blood + dust.

the blood splatters also would sometimes show false hits. a few releases ago, these false hits were pretty annoying. perhaps they removed the blood for that reason.

They did it just because it was unrealistic

Blood effects could show hits that never actually registered especially when lag or pings are going bad, the elastic band lag if you know what I mean

I think its because graphic effects are generated locally and the actual hit is server calculated.
Im fine with the body flying back like it is now, thats a kill and till then they are a threat.

I was told that the reason is; most of the times when people get shot in RL at a distance, all you see is a dustcloud due to the sand accumulated on the uniform and the guy getting thrown back.

It is more realistic. Personally I didn't notice the change until somebody pointed it out.

wow i just realized that the blood effects were removed....they looked kinda cool though.

Funny, I bet nobody have thought of asking to remove the bloodeffect, just now we realize it sure was unrealistic.
