I know that the PR lead most of all, doesn't like the idea of air power in Project Reality Basra since it would be killing civilians. But I say give it a chance!!!

You say it was overpowering in 0.5, but I say that 2 A-10's and 2 Cobra's were the perfect air cover. But I ask that in a possible Open Beta(the perverable small taste) The Apaches not be put back in, but 2 of those jets that are comming out be put in.....you know *wink*.

Be put in to test weather or not the possible air power would be overwhelming, and weather or not the civilian toll would be enough to stop the madness, or if the number of civilians would be low enough that real life commanders wished they had PR pilots. This mod is founded on Realism and team work...adding jets or aircraft for air support would increase the teamwork used and add realism, adding air power wouldn't make anybody thin kless of you or especially not of the Great Britian Armed Forces because of Project Reality's decision to make reality a BF2 Reality.

I don't ask that you put it in 0.8, I only ask that if there is a 0.8 Open Beta, you put the new jet in there to see if it would add more realism and teamwork than civie casualties.

If your referring to me then I personally love air power.

You however have 100% missed the point of why there is no air power in Al Basrah, its simply because that apaches can too easily take out ammo caches. A good chopper on that map would just win the map on its own, the insurgents wouldn't be able to do much about it if it had a good pilot and gunner.

Unless we redesign the map by a huge amount we cant put attack choppers on there and the map is too small for our jets.
