Yeah you need to explain your self a little better
because it is a mod, graphics and textures dont look at its best.
This is normally the other way around.

He means because it's not developed by a company, the graphics and textures are not flashy enough. He asks what the Dev's should do to become better developers.

...Or asking if we have any plans on improving the overall appearance quality of the game? Graphics-wise?
That's what I got out of it.

sorry about my. unclearness.. but yeah. What is being done about improving the graphics, the game isn't made developers, so what is being done to improve that, the graphics arent very 'flashy' as someone had put it.

That's BF2 Engine, BF2 doesn't look 'flashy' neither. And PR can look pretty good if you have the right settings, some colour correction, and woop woop high AA.

Well... I run an old rig and plan on upgrading sooner then later so I hope yas don't push the graphics too high if at all. I enjoy PR like everyone else and want to continue playing as long as their is admins willing to monitor proper gameplay. Be gentle ...

sure, brillant gameplay backed up by great grafics would be nice.
if Id have to choose though, well.. I aint posting this on a crysis forum am I?^^
I guess you could get an improved aestethic impact with custom statics, overgrowth and trees, overall spicy variation to get it more lively and pictoresk. but I can imagine thatd take hellalot of time and effort.

im glad to hear that, but i doubt its the BF2 engine cause i run vanilla on all high setting and runs beautifully, PR does too, but i feel like it has so much more potential

There was a poll recently on the forum asking what settings people played the game at - last time I looked as many people played on low settings as high! Considering that I can play with everything on full with a gfx card that costs under £50 / $50, I was pretty shocked.
Anyway the gfx quality that the DEVs out it is not too important, as you can drop the settings/resolution. I think its more important that the different maps are of a similar quality, so that people can set up their rig for all maps, and not have to log off when certain maps appear.

My bottleneck is the CPU. And since it's socket A I would have to change 90% of the PC components to get there something better than Athlon 3000+.

I think RAM is very important with PR/Bf2 as well, theres ALOT of stuff to load, especially the bigger maps.
