I assume this is codable given Jonnys brief and supportive response.
I'd say go a step further with 2) and make it also apply to small arms fire, but I'm sure they'd be reaching for the grenades before that occurred.
I think the instant kick should apply to some things, but in cases like destruction of armour, air and logistical assets, there should be the standard forgive/punish, but a punish resulting in a kick. The exception of mines is very reasonable, because 99% of the time people seem to be convinced it was the other persons fault, but with other forms of destruction you'd hope people would be a little smarter, especially if it would involve leaving an armour/air piece unmanned and most likely destroyed.

i dont think many server admins would like to over complicate their kick system. server admins pay for their server so they have the ability to choose their own rules. not that your comment is wrong or anything, but it means it would aggrovate administrators. if a dude is teamkilling and sombody complains, he gets kicked, its the current system and it works to a fair extent, where an active admin quizzes a player/s in order to instruct or deal a kick/ban. if all decision making systems/dynamics were controled by computers what do you think the world would be like?
same pricipal with a game server. i dont want our server to be completely controled by a bot because i dont trust them fully, and i want the decision myself.
But ill let you in on somthing, i did previously bring this up amongst my clan to see what opinions may fly. (increase punishments) not that i'm a nasty guy, heavens no

but i do become tired of seeing so much foul play that somtimes i would like a more permanent solution. and the solution is allready there imo, game server admins. And that was the outcome of the clan discussion, is there a better solution to the kick system...answer: NO.

Only problem is there isn't always a admin when you need one, I do see your point though. I think perhaps if the devs made a set of server side options, and then admins can decide what is used.
I think what might be cool is to have severity of TKs and asset destruction worked into a more comprehensive punish system. So for example if someone TKs you and your flying a jet, that could carry 10 times more weight then TKing a grunt if your punished. I guess that might not work given the amount of unreasonable people that play this game though.

i dont even think this suggestion belongs here. i think it would be better if you went to the main servers and sent out emails for their consideration. you mightn't think it, but all admins in all the main servers check pretty much every suggestion that passes by. heres me for example, i tap the pulse by checking the suggestion thread on reality forums every day, and i respond to most comments on TCombat.com's forum. that my suggestion to you. go and ask the game server admins what they think of your idea, because all that stuff is too delicate to be dealthwith with regards to coding and stuff. lol BF2CC is a beta ffs, dont expect much in the ways of modifying it, because that AINT happening.

At the battlearena server we use kick votes or <!vk playername> for non-admins to kick teamkillers and smacktards. It only takes 10 !vks and the player is kicked and I have seen it work. Also if there is an admin on and sees someone getting !vked they will most likley kick or ban the person.
I also think that server admins should be able to choose their own rules as they have payed for the server and let you play on it.

I don't see this as a major problem, the behavior is fine in PR. Besides we have a Teamkiller report thread about this, that seems to work fine.

'Darkeye[NL wrote:;703181']I think it's time to weed out the noobs, exploiters, and griefers by kicking them the whole time when they do something wrong. Making it no fun for them needing to rejoin a server the whole time just to grief.
1.- Knifing a friendly--> Immediate kick without ban.
>Why? Because knifing friendlies is very rare, but not when you are a teamkiller of course.
2.- Destroying 1 friendly rallypoint with knife? --> Kick without ban.
>Unless ofcourse, my other suggestion, being unable to destroy friendly rallypoints, is implemented.
3.- A kick-system which is better to access, better to overview, and on every server. The current kickvote-system is flawed, and is sometimes not even accessable.
1. Why? Civi vs Brits fight, accidentally being hit, etc.
2. JDAMs/Missiles/Nades can all accidentally kill an RP.
3. Not needed in my opinion. One very important element of a good server is good administration.
PR's overall behaviour is fine. There are a few lads that try to be funny, read wumwuts, that do ruin the game, but fortunately, they are rare.

Don't like the insta kick for killing a friendly vehicle. I've had to make the choice before of blowing up a friendly and a bomb car...or letting the bomb car get to more friendlies. Things like that happen and is it really fair to punish the guys who do that? He wasn't just tking to tk...he was acutally making a sound tactical decision.

We use python to code our admin system and dont use bf2cc.

Doesnt the missile blow up when it hits the flare?

No no wait... If im in a chopter and someone fires an AA missile at me and i drop the flares, doesnt the missile then choose a target between 7 (i think) different heat signatures coz the heat signature that it was tracking before split up? And then when it gets close enough to the flare or my chopter (it cant see a difference can it?) it blows up? Coz ive seen missiles hit flares and blow up
