this really isnt important but it would be nice...

i cant find a way to make the crouch button so if i press it once he stays crouched..is there even a way to do that

if there isnt can u make it so u can do it like taht...when im defending i usually liek not to press buttons ..so i either have to prone or stand...but some times its best to crouch..but pushing crouch down w/ ur pinky finger and waiting for enemies kinda ..hurts...w/e..if it cant be done its ok

It can't It's how the game was made... it's part of the engine... I'm almost 100% sure about this.

You would, I reckon, have to exchange prone for crouch.
But then prone would be press and hold.
I'm not sure if the animations would match up.

I would get a joystick or a gaming keyboard with toggle switches.
I use the toggle switches when repairing or building a bunker.

Old trick is opening xfire while crouched. You will then stay crouched.

Other than that, its not possible right now, and probably not in the future.

I agree it would be nice though... if only because it would possibly cut down on the popping up and down tactic...or at least would make it a bit more of a button pressing toggle for the player... Like ArmA for example, I feel the toggle of crouch has that effect on a player... at least it does for me. knowing I have to press the crouch button and it will stay, and press again to stand makes me use crouch a bit more realistically...

But thats also due to ArmA having slower animations when going from stand to crouch and the other way around...

Would be nice...
