My suggestion is that when a squad leader or commander is placing razorwire that is shows where the razorwire will be placed. I know that you can demolish it with a 50.cal or C4 but, i wouldnt want to be wasting ammo and my eng's C4 just to take down 1 piece or rasorwire.

Might work but this is not an RTS you know.........

Hmm The US Army/USMC still use the Bangalores from WW2 ablet a bit more reliable. They also just came up with a new tool for dealing with Razerwire that moves it away and makes a whole that a person could walk through.

Engys should do what they do IRL fix things, plant Mines, and bust open defences. It would make the game more interesting and Engys would be a much more played class if they got points for it too as many servers right now are ABR ranked.

u cant in real life kill wire by .50 cal rounds. f someone modeled wire cutters, coded and skinned them they could work.

I would really like to be able to place more razor wire per firebase/bunker than 5. (IRL) it is not only used to keep infantry out of a position but to also funnel them into bottlenecks that can be made into easy killzones. With only 5 deployable sets of razorwire you can't effectively funnel enemy troops.

Umm, I had absolutly no idea 5m was how close an asset spawned, it wasn't in the manual or guide, perhaps a loading menue tip is required?

Does "killing" razorwire make your score down?

No. It says "Team Vehicle Damage", but doesn't make your score go down... Which shouldn't be a problem anyway, since we're not playing this game for score, are we?

And Lt.Soucy, the purpose of the tutorial was to show how to put down razorwire accurately. The .50cal is used to hit the metal posts which the razorwire is held up with... which essentially would make the razorwire fall to the ground and render it useless in real life anyway?

Wirecutters would be good. They could work like the current "repairing a mine to clear it" with the wrench kind of thing.

Just want to know :p

I wish the knife could cut the wires.

We can get kicked for negative score, so that is something to care about indeed.
