On the Al-Bashra map, as the british, there is, over the oil refinery a flame in the air, that you can lock onto with missles, flying through it yeilds dammage as well

the flame is supposed to be lockable, AA are heat tracking signature finder thingies. You will see this feature in the big map al kufra oilfields? I dont rmbr these damn names... but the MEC vs US map-KASHAN there we go. Anywho, lots of oil pumps with the flames. If you ever get into a dogfight and ur taking it in the ***, dive down to the floor and fly through those, and he wont be able to lock on (temporarily), but dont forget his guns... those still arent good for ur health. ALso the damage would make sense... i mean... flames... right?

no, its an invisable flame thats up in the air, you can't see any fire, yet you can still lock on and take damage from it, its not attached to anything

Happens to me too, I can only see the flames when they are in the corners of my screen. I don't really care.

can u point the location on the map for me? or take a screen shot?

Any of those oil pumps or oil towers on Kashan.

I can see the flames on kashan, I run medium setting.

wait, there are flames on albrashar on the oil pumps... maybe like they said your settings are preventing you from seeing them?

ok after playing the training mode map for fun, i noticed that two oil tankers have the lock on box which u cannot lock on to. Planes dont lock onto them but choppers do. But the fire is there. The box shows up a bit further up form the flames as well.

My old computer I had everything on low settings I couldn't see any flames except for the molotov and on burning vehicles, I was given a brand new computer, and now I see the flames on the oil towers, it is the settings that prevent you from seeing it.
