Well Just joined wanted to say hi and ask a few questions.
first where can I get the maps I need to play? i downloaded the new mod but can't play cause it says I don't have the right maps.
Please help.

the downloading and install of PR v0.75 is a little confusing,

Project Reality : Battlefield 2 Mod - Mod File Links

on our files page there, you can see 3 main boxes with the top one being v0.75 patcher, under that is v0.7 and under that are the levels.

The order you need to install them in is v0.7 client files (middle box), then v0.7 levels (bottom box), then v0.75 patcher (top box), then you can play PR v0.75, that is providing you also have BF2 v1.41 installed

OK thanks I will try that. But right now I got to get to bed. Its 5 am And I got a wedding to DJ in the afternoon

You're doing it wrong Rhino.

The client(patch) is only for those who previously had 0.70 (the previous version) installed, and want to patch to 0.75 (the current version) instead of download the whole thing again.

The middle box, the client(core) is the full 0.75 core.

Therefore you need to download and install the client(core), then download and install the client(levels), and you should be good to go.

Ignore the patch.

Oh aye mate if you’ve totally new it will seem like you on another planet with regards to normal BF2 but is far more rewarding…..you will get owned but keep with it. Don’t bother flying it will take you a while to even grasp the basics.

There is far more team play in this and shock horror bullets kill in this. Just expect a rather large learning curve, VOIP is major in this so its easy to ask question if your squad is on the move in a safe place, or just waiting.

Oh and its not the Mods fault but Tanks cant still go up wee hills my godson would do in his wee bike…..and it’s a bit of the same under foot. You’ll never fully get it till you have that magic round with the right players on the right server and you’ll sit back and go Wow…………
