Hi, I am here, so i post :)
I think it could be a good idea, on some map, to put, for example, the 5 kits of the brits, and under it, one or two american kit, well equiped, but limited. What do you think about it?

I would also love to have multiple factions in the same team to simulate real coalition such as NATO (Brits and US in PR + eventually Canadian Forces) but I think bf2 do not allow it. Although, maybe there is some way around, modyfying a faction for specifics maps, making it half brits, half us.

Depends, if you want one team to have different voices, it's not possible. The only thing you can do it put in kits from other factions, so for example, you can have kits from different factions, but everybody's talking in the same language: brits, usmc, chinese, mec, etc.

Well, what he suggests would work, on Basrah for example, you could have a NATO flag, language would be default English, then you could have Officer and Rifleman/Engy/medic for the GB and Rifleman/Engy/medic for US.

make a custom object spawner for limited kits ie. nato.con, then mix up the limited kits; M16/M203 for Grenadier, while Sniper is L1191 etc.

or have it completely random if that's possible, u might get a British kit you might get an American one.

I hope you mean L115A1, 'cause you wouldn't really want to try sniping with a Diemaco C8. ;)

I know how much we all hated Euro Force, but will this be any more realistic than that stupid 'euro-speak' that DICE came up with for the Euro Force booster pack?

The wouldn't we have mixed squad of Canadians and Brits? un less thats the point. It is cool to have 3 factions Like in ARMA US and RACS VS the w/e there called bad guys.

Or instead of random kits use the un lock system to select Canadian/ Brit Kit, then Right and left click for requested kits Like the GOGOGOGOG/ Fall back thing in the commo rose

For the different voice part, could you possibly use the same system as they have for the commander as what he says is in a different accent/words. or is that hardcore? But yeah this idea sounds cool :) maybe you could vary the kits depending on which base you spawn at?

You could just rightclick at a kit in the T rose, to get the US version of it, and left click for the UK version or so.

Not worth the effort IMO. 16 members of each allied army? That does not happen much and this will add no value to gameplay.

that might be hard coded because it envolves the squad screen

i was thinking about this suggestion myself today lol....if i remember correctly some of the mission briefs mentions that there are different country's at the location. I am not sure in what extent they collaborate but (maybe PR's MA's can add some info on this) it would be kinda cool if there where for instance where one American squad rolling around with the British.

i dont think the voices would really have a profound effect in this instance. I reckon the gameplay of two uniforms working side by side would outweigh that small issue.

Brits + USMC X Chinese + MEC would be cool

This wouldnt have that much of an effect on gameplay other than that if you dont like say the brits's weapon system you could use the american version which you may be more used to or prefer for some reason. i mean say you're not efficient with the ACOG scope but you are good with the brit rifleman scope. as for me i HATE the brit LAT from early 0.7 dont recall if it's chhnged to AT4 like the US now, but the sights on it were terrible.

oh and i supose having the protection of a humvee rather than the open air land rover would be a change...not that it really makes a difference in game play but say if ur not actually goin anywhere you've stopped for a moment then it would make a difference

its hard to hit a fast moving vehichle with small arms fire anyways...asuming it's not comeing straight at you or straight away

US + Canada using US English :D we have the same accent... it would be nice to have that in PR.
