When i searched this i found nothing, but if there has been another post like this fell free to delete it.
First off the Brit officer beret, is there any reason why he is wearing one in the middle of a desert were he can be seen from miles away. All the other factions officer wear helmets, why not the brit O, IRL when in operations every soldier wear a helmet.
Also since the woodland brit O wears a Royal Marine beret shouldn't all the brits wear one or bush hats. I have only found pics of royal marines wearing berets or bush hats when in jungles or woodland and this would also distinguish them more as royal marines.

Thirdly is it possible to have soldier skins look more natural, e.g. sleeves rolled up in hot environments, ovibously not every kit but some kits, and camelbacks on the brits. And make the woodland brits body amour woodland DPM as i have never seen modern soldier wear all green body armour.
I understand this may be alot of work, but just think about it as it would add more realism to the game.

Is what you trying to say that only royal marines were berets and bush hats in this enviroment sorry i dont get what your saying?
hes saying:
1. remove beret from UK officer model - which yes it will be changed but needs a hole new model, which im sure they will change eventually but atmo itsnt top priority
2. bush hats for jungles. which if realistic is same as number one, will be done , low priority needs new model
3. see 1 and 2, low priority needs new model (body army new skin) will probably happen eventually

No
I saying since the woodland brits are royal marines, because officer wear royal marine green beret that they should all were the beret or a bush hat. From all the pics i have seen of royal marines in a jungle or woodland environment they either were bush hats or berets. I sure other factions do to but i was concentrating on the marines. Just for woodland or jungle environment. The desert brits are paras so keep helmets but just change officer beret, maybe a cameback and some guys with sleeves rolled up. I know it is probs low priority but just wanted to make it known.

One of the things I hate about the US Marine uniforms in this game is that there is no Eagle, Globe, and Anchor patch on the sleeve or the flak.

Can they legally put the eagle, globe, and anchor on though?

I noticed that some or most of the player models have pistols holstered.

cant we just take the Medic Skin + different kit outlets? Everyone has a bush hat, but their actual kit will be reprsentitive of their layout?

I think its trademarked. That's why in COD4, they did not actually use the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, they used a Starship Troopers looking logo.
But since this game is not making any profits, I am not sure it is against the rules or anything.

related thread,
I agree with any changes to appearance that increase realism, especially the use of helmets by all classes.

maybe when i get the time i might be able to help out with some thing like this, i was in the process of making a modular british solider many months ago, that could easily interchange parts to a specific rig, like the rolled up sleeves to differing webbing layouts PLCE, osprey, artkis, camelback, UGL bandoiler, trouble is making those pesky levels of detail!
