More smaller maps

With every release is all very well bring out these huge maps, which are excellent don't get me wrong there, but i have noticed while filling up the .:iGi:. server that many of the 16 player maps arnt very well thought through or have flaws.
Also there is a severe lack of intermediate maps between 16, 64 players
Therefore we need better thought out 16 player maps. An example of one which is good but seriously flawed is Kufrah, this map is fun for some G3 vs L85 action but there are only 3 flags and fro some reason there is ticket blead. Just as the fight gets interesting it ends. There are rounds on that map that are shorter than vanilla. Also Op ghost 16 is simply the part with the bridges and is basically where all the fighting is anyway so you might as well put the 64 player map on as its only slightly bigger. please can it be made so its between say temple and tunnel, or chinese main and trenches somthing like that, so we geta new angle of fighting.
My final point is that a lot of the older maps were good server fillers, Helmand works well with few players and can get the number up, and if too many people join than change the map, that will avoid overcrowding.
also inishanil forest would work well as an intermidate sized map, from playing on the retro map pack it workls well with the newer weapons and gamplay and is a simply beutiful map as well.
in short:
- Better 16 player maps
- bring back Helmand!!
- Bring back Inishanail!!
- More EF Typhoons!!!!!!

It is up to the server admins to set smaller maps. The suggestion is the addressed to the server host. What servers do you have in mind?

no this is a suggestion to the devs to improve the quality of the smaller maps and bring back two old ones

currently the 16p maps are meant to be played for 6v6 clan matches....
we will have alot more options in v0.8 for maps, all maps will have an infantry mode on them which will be great for filling servers.
we will still keep the 6v6 layers but it will have its own game mode which gives us more flexibility.

yeah dw bout it johhny im just thinking of ways we can fill our server up without resorting to, *shudder* ejod 16 (lots of people are getting tired of ejod).
Fuzz how do you fill up a server with a 64 player map? i mean i wouldnt join a server tht is running somthing like mestia 64 if there was only 5 or 6 players on. I dont see how a no vehicles option going to help.
Actauly come to think of it, Bring back goods station!!!

Will infantry mode on small maps allow us to place rally points closer than 100m away from flags? (EJOD is so boring cuz theres only 5 places you can put ur rally point

)

Why you named you're topic "More smaller maps" then you ask for more EF Typhoon... It take 5 min in jet to cross KASHAN wich is the biggest map..

... i'm not a huge fan of the infantry mode in pr either. i hated it in vanilla and one of the things i love about pr is the integration and coordination between like vehicles and infantry. UNLESS you mean there will be that option for 16v16 map clan matches? But I don't wanna pub on qwai with no tow hummer/littlebird/apcs

Who says Karkand can't be good in PR? Just because it was a nade fest with bunnyhopping medics all over in vanilla, that's pretty hard to do in PR IMO.

yeah screw the big maps theyre like active euthanasia for servers.
just because you can, doesnt mean you should. especially if you dont give the assetts which need that empty space the proper love theyd need.

Actually, I would loveeeeee some small 16/32 sized map with 64 players extremely intense with firefights all over the town. Designed for Close Quarter combat only. Every building destroyable. A small very urban map focused on infantry.
