I was wondering if we could get .50 SMGs into PR as a heavy alternative to the current light SMGs (emplaced M249, RPK74 and QBB95). Would bring some heavier CP defenses into the game and they could also be used in scenario based maps (imagine Hamgyong with angry Chinese firing down with KORDs :twisted

Emplaced PKM and Hk21 would also be nice if they can be implemented (clone the weapon and tweak the code?)

AIX already has this in most of their maps.

Ehh you know about the deployable .50 cals that have been shown in the Dev Journal, right?

I think he means heavy MG's as a replacement of the light MG's that are placed by the mapper .

I think its more likely in real life to have a M249 or M240, as .50 is a lot bigger and in all the documentaries and pics i have seen, they are using M249s and M240 i think

I like the idea of the static .50 cals. If you have to defend something you use every weapon to defend, doesnt matter if it wouldnt used normally.

You should try to watch some more then...

Those are emplacements like the deployable .50 cals that PR will have... don't know what you want more

So? Why can't we have mapper placed stationary .50s?

I doubt you'll be able to spawn one of the deployable .50s inside a bunker/pillbox

Also cant understand you bosco. What do you have against static .50cals?

This is a whole new creation, this is like an MG nest, what i thought you were saying was replacing the ones atm with .50s, which would just look out of proportion, but i stand corrected.
