A number of US equipment suggestions

Hi my name is Philnopatience but u can call me Phil for short i have some ideas that i think would be some great assets for PR's upcoming 0.8.
First i like to suggest for the US Army a new helicopter called the Kiowa Warrior its a 2 manned crew with Air-to-air Stinger (ATAS) (2 round launcher); .50 caliber machine gun (500 rounds); HYDRA 70 (2.75 in) rockets (7-shot pod); HELLFIRE missiles (2-round launcher) the hellfire is laser guided so SL can call in some Kiowa for support against heavy armored vehicles.

I also was wondoring if the US and British could have a new heavy AT the Javelin

And a Heavy Machine Gun not a mounted .50 cal but a infantry carried weapon such as the M-240B Machine Gun, with this relaible 7.62mm machine gun delivers more energy to the target than the smaller caliber M-249 SAW which would help soldiers on the ground suppress of enemy infantry and light vehicles.Yes it can have an ammo bag attached to it

And ive heard of ppl talking about the Harrier and i was thinking y do we have to have that, the USMC and US Navy are trading in that aircraft for the new F-35 Lightning 2. It is a single seat, single engine aircraft with stealth capablilities and is a multi-role aircraft that can do close air support, tactical bombing, and be a air superiority fighter. The F-35 has three different models; one is the conventional takeoff and landing variant, the second is short takeoff and vertical-landing variant, and the third is a carrier-based variant.

For carrier type missions the USMC should have the AAV or Amphibian Assault Vehicle

Or the brand new Amphibian Assault Vehicle that will take the AAVs place is the EFV or Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle

And for the carrier based missions instead of using UH-60 black hawks you could use the CH-53D Sea Stallions

i do have more things id like to share but i wont to c if u guys like it so tell me wat u think

They're all solid ideas, but adding vehicles and weapons that already have workable equivalents in the game is not our top priority. By no means is this a rejection, but just understand that other concerns come first. Also keep in mind that we have 4 (and more on the way) conventional factions that would also need equivalent vehicles, in terms of our policy of symmetrical balance between the factions (this does not include a map to map basis though ala Qwai River).

Javelin is not happening since its buggy and ruins balance.
What I believe is the buggy part with the JAvelin is that when you lock onto a target and the missile loose the lock it will lock to another target, thats what I believe is the bug.
I dont know much about the us military hardware but we already have the APC who can take the role as a Amphibian Assault Vehicle, I also believe its no use in using the stallion since imo its the black hawk who is used by the us army and I know that USMC uses the Huey.
Ohh well we can wait and see what 0.8 and the us army can come up with and what they bring..

The LAV is not amphibious to any real depth. It can wade in shallow water, but other vehicles are required for any....amphibious operation....

I played with a Javelin in the NAW mod. It wasn't buggy at all, a bit over-powered since if you got a lock, the enemy was allready did. But it worked perfectly fine, just the way it should. I'm sure the PR devs could make it so you have to maintain a lock for the missile to hit, which was NAW's main failing. Since once the missile was launched you could just run off and wait for it to hit. Would be a little overpowered against tanks at long range, but you could just make a secondary HAT kit that's even more limited, and uses the javelin.

i mean dude i think the PR developers would fix the bugs and make it more realistic to a point, the Javelin was developed for a fire and forget system the NAW developers messed that up and made it look bad but i think that PR developers would make it to where the missle will hit the target u u wanted instead of some other target, and any way we dont no if it would be buggy for PR
the LAV is not an amphibious vehicle thats y i was wondoring if they could make the AAV or EFV
Now i did forget about the Huey sorry but it has its advantages and disadvantages, the Huey is lighter, and faster than the CH-53 but the CH-53 holds more ppl and has two machine guns on the side and of course it is slow and can probly get shot down easyer but it would take longer for it to go down than the Huey ive flown the huey and been shot down plenty of times by APC and Stingers but i could of suppressed them with a .50 cal or maybe a Mk-19 grenade launcher but i didnt have a gunner on my huey so ya hueys r good to some extent

Just use the Javlin as a pickup kit like the 50. cal sniper and give the MEC a couple of Rpg-29 pickup kits.
Pickup kits rocks! I miss them. Makes you feal special

Sadly due to engine limitations, the Sea Stallion could only carry maximum 8 people like the Huey.

Also due to engine limitations you can't have vehicles inside/carrying other vehicles, so the amphibious landing craft wouldn't really be doable.

That made me think that militia H-AT should have a Rpg-29 and a SKS.

I'm not going to dig up links for each one of them, but if my memory serves me correctly each of these things has been suggested atleast once, some of them a couple of times.
Also, as has been stated above, there are already working equivalents in-game for these things.
Locking for re-suggestion, please make use of the search function and the Already Suggested Suggestions thread.
