First of all in PR are we using the A-10 I or are we using the a-10c thunderbolts 2 if were not we should be. Now that wasen't my main suggestion but if we are using the a-10 c or Evan the A-10 it needs a upgraded
targeting system for the 30 mm. I wish i could of found the video of it i saw it on future weapons and read up on it on a few different sites. but its pretty much looks like the co pilots view on the LB when you press the secondary fire(so you could just use that), but in Real life it gives the pilot up to a 3 mile zoom. i was thinking just give it as much zoom as a tank. My suggestion doesn't explain every thing so some of you input would help.

not really you probably wouldn't need as much zoom as a tank but a little, say as much as a apc or evan less than that but when you get a good run in you have some time. it would help

But you'd have to fly pretty high then. Maybe we could have the vBf2 "infra red" and it displays heat signatures with a sight?

I hope we're using the A-10C,because it's the latest version,and the fielded one...I thought about this too,when I saw the episode of FutureWeapons...

well like i said it looks just like the "infra red" sights.

Well when I used to play Forgotten Hope (last mod that I could play because the computer has security issues)We always flew and did pop ups when doing bombing runs and such because you didn't want to fly high or you'd get shot up by Bofors or any other AA.

zooming for A-10? I love it
but also can you have zoom for ALL aircraft and have lower sensitivity while zoomed for better accuracy

well not all of the aircraft just the tank killers.

That's just the FLIR pod, all A-10s and Su-29s can have one equipped. You usually use it to quide IR missiles but it can be used to aim the gun.
I prefer to use the HUD sights in simulators since by the time your in range you can see the target easily and it displays all the necessary lead and range data, useful at night though.

ok then just zooming for all aircraft who have the ability do do it
I think that's most if not all of the modern aircraft but I'm not certain.

maybe it's only bombers I'm thinking

still it would be handy to be able to zoom in .
