Kashan Bunker Ramp Glitch
Posted: 2008-07-06 04:26
I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but I finally got around to getting some screenshots of the glitch today during our tourney game.
This is by no means server specific as I've caught it unintentionally in the past on the few different servers I play on.
This is behind a bunker in Kashan (South Flag Bunker I believe - doesn't matter though, I've simulated on other bunkers). I'm hunkered down behind the north side of the ramp looking south and everything is fine:

Now, without moving my location but simply tilting the direction/angle I look a few degrees, I can "see" through the ramp (and at any potential enemies on the other side; which there were none this time).

These shots were taken back-to-back in order to illustrate the glitch. I'm not sure if I can fire through the missing bunker or not (never tried) and usually don't think about it until it happens.
My system specs are:
AMD X2 4800 2.4GHz
7800GTX 256Mb dual monitors setup (although bf2 only utilizes one)
4GB RAM (only 2.75gb reported due to 32bit Vista memory reporting)
System usually runs at about ~70% while playing BF2 (system monitors usually open on spare monitor).
Thanks! And keep up the great work!
