The current state of bullet penetration?

Yo!
I just remembered I ran a test on the bullet penetration of glass back in v.5 and found that the M95 was the only weapon that could do it (50.cal MGs were unable, seemed like they were using a different "bullet code").
Hows it going now? Can 50.cal MGs tear through the glass on trucks and aircraft or is it still something unique to the M95?

IIRC, .50 cals can shoot through all vehicles except for tanks, IFV's and APC's.

The test picked up on being able to shoot through other stuff with the .50 and even lower power weapons.
It's the bullet proof glass is the one that's been bugging me. You couldn't shoot through the windows of the HMMWV, Vodnick, BH or LB with the .50 machine guns but the M95 goes straight through.
It was quite annoying to drill into a HMMWV windscreen with your .50 and just have the bullets bounce off the window while it drives away (badly damaged though

).

You most certainly CAN fire through the supply truck windows -- done it myself, both incoming and outgoing.

I think that only those models that were made by EA/Dice have those bullet proof windows. So, distributable buildings, supply trucks, and models made by the PR team have realistic penetration.
