I "stopped in" after a long break from the forums on my lunch today and didnt have time to do a full search on the matter.

I was just wondering if in the new .8, if Al Basrah could be implemented with the U.S. Army vs. insurgents?

I love playing the insurgency game mode and I love this map as I feel it offers a well-rounded sense of game-play covering many different elements of combat.

Yeah but I've heard talk wither it'll be USMC or US Army?

Dont get me wrong.....I love playing as the Brits!

I just thought it would be an interesting mix-up.

Maybe set up the scenarios to where the Brits have moved onto a previously held US spot and the US.....you get the picture.

What about a Brit playable Kashan?

Having the British on Basrah is realistic and Basrah has bigger problems then armies on it. How about the advantage that the Insurgents have on it?

It is on subject....

And you misunderstood what I said. The point of having the British on Basrah is because it is realistic and thats why the USMC was replaced on it. The DEVs and map creators are trying to make the maps based off of real life locations similar to those of realistic battle locations.

Same reason why ColoredFox is determining which army is realistc to put on his Afganistan map.

But it isnt "unrealistic" either.

Whatever dude.

Locking for re-suggestion. The US side in general was taken out of Basrah for realism reasons and won't be making a return.
