AK Tactical Reload Animation

If you'll take a look at
this video, you'll find that the AK series can be reloaded much faster than the animations in PR - or, for that matter, the animations of any other weapon in PR.
Would it be considered imbalanced to introduce this animation whenever it becomes a priority?
EDIT: Can't the charging lever be switched to the other side? That would make this animation a LOT easier to create.

asuming you dump your mags its not an issue, as well even if you keep your mags, loaded mags are to be stored upside down and empty mags right side up. and thats how you avoid such situations as reloading with an empty magazine

You're going to be able to feel by the weight of the magazine as to whether it is empty or not. If you're running around with empty magazines in your ammo pouches, you've set yourself up for failure.
As for the reanimation, this is Project Reality. The two armies using AK47s are the Insurgents and Militia, both of whom aren't necessarily known for their prowess with automatic weapons. The second someone shows me a video of an insurgent performing this same mag change, I'll eat my words.

Russia?
(This is assuming that the AK-101 has the same mechanism. If not, I'll eat my own words.)

Forgot about the Russians. While we're suggesting 'uber leet' reload animations, the Poles should use
this one.

This one surely takes the short bus to school. Unless he's skipping class because he knows he'll get nerd-stomped. That kid needs a huge L tatooed on his forhead.

This is one of those moments where I would have posted the RTT-CQB Man video, but unfortunately, the person who uploaded it, removed it. Anyways... goodtogo.

Typically regular soldiers don't run about dumping magazines. The usually keep hold of them (often putting them in a dump pouch or some such) so they can be reused at a later time.

And i doubt that you'll be as cool as those people while you're under fire. And if you're not under fire, there isnt so much need for a super fast reload. I'd asume thats one of those "works on the range, will fail on the field" thingies, but i can only guess.

IRL theres always this X factor like weapon jamming etc. I think it should be coded instead of faster reload. In Americas Army they have coded this thing. In my army time it happened several times to me so i think its very common with some weapons. Some soldiers even practice hitting their helmet with mag to prevent bullet jamming.

Look at the new L85 animation. Don't tell me he's tossing that mag into his pocket!

Remember, this is a game. Who cares about throwing away mags when 99% of us never even live long enough to expend all our ammo?
