Hud and gameplay suggestions.

Well i have had a nice afternoon playing with all my fav players on gloryhoundz wail doing so my brain worked on some new suggestion for the Dev team to suck on..

HUD
Any chanse your thinking on redoing the gfx on the compass (If you want "and yes i want to " i cant take on the jobb as 2d art guy and help you out)

1. ATM the N,E,W and S letters are abit fuzzy as there dark grey on a light grey background would be nice if you could make em more visible

2.Remove text msg on giving ammo cuz it gets kinda spammy after some time.
the sound playing around the character is enuf.

Ingame

Remove names over heads on fellow team mates tho wail aiming at em with IRON SIGHT let the name fade in over there head after about 2 seconds, so that you can identifie em..

That also let ppl think befor shooting, adds more reality into realitymod :D

Hell, you could almost make it a true reality mod and get rid of the name tags all together. CS did it, and so did AA. That way your not taking pot shots at people that you have'nt even identified at 200m plus. All the uniforms are different enough to do this as when someone comes close you could tell if it was frendly or not. You could also check your minimap in relation to where your facing to see if what your pointing at is a friendly or not

Thats realistic, and if the minimap is in place its easy enough to ID friendlies from that, but i'm sure a lot of players don't check that and without tags of any kind FF would increase exponentially.

well if you play the game right, and, dare I say, punnish everything, then the guys tk'ing will eventually learn to identify what they are shooting at or leave cause their scores are so damn low! :-D

but this is not CS or AA with only 10 ppl on a map. This is BF2, with 64man max on a map. and you get choppers, jets and tanks. How the hell are you going to keep your trigger happy thinger off thosu little black specs in the distance sitting on the top of the hill?

well rhino if you use my original idea and let the name fade in over the head after 2 sec aiming it will work..

for troops yes. But for the other stuff i aint so sure about. I, and manny other bombers have HUGE probs about friendly infantry gathered round enemy tanks, and you are flying arround in your f-15 looking for a bombing target, and you see this tank, you bomb the tank, and get 5tks. Then they all punish. this will just mean choppers, and all the other stuff like that are going to rank up all thous TKs too.

For troops, i do agree its a good idea. It will mean that troops will check there targets alot more ect and not be so trigger happy. im not disputing that im saying look at the bigger pic.

Armored vehicles (planes, chopper, tank, apc, AA) should cleary to be identifed by themself.
so if i am in a tank or plane i should clearly see if i aim at the enemy vehicle or not. (friend foe signal)

normal soldiers should not have this, it´s unrealistic (at least now)

by the way this could be a new game feature:
if the commander toys are broken the "friend foe signal" is off and armor get´s a problem in aiming... 8)

Update on the HUD text msg issu

Remove the following text msges.

all medic text msgs that has to do with reviving.
and remove the rest of those msg that are well not realy any good or important or the once that there are sounds for.. dont realy need both text and sound.

All you realy need as text msgs are msg from commander and squad leader..

On 64 player map, you cant even freakin read it, its just like a constantly scrolling text that servers absolutely no purpose, other than bringing your immersion level down.
