Hey is there a thread to connect with players you may have played with on a server?

I played with a squad that I thought worked together very well and would love to play with them again.

If there is no thread like that.. then maybe this can be the start of one.

general_assassin


Just some that I can remember.
Played with snip3, Nsidejob and papercurls last night and enjoyed working with them in a squad.. everyone worked well together, communicated and listened to each other and it over all made for a nice success as a squad even if our team didn't win the map.. we as a squad certainly succeeded and did our job.

I played with general_assassin about a week or so ago.. and a couple other guys maybe he can remember their names but I thought our squad worked together so well it was unreal. We played Qwai River and took the Government Office very strategically even with a USMC tank rolling around.. we stayed along the walls went prone when enemy went by.. and eventually we took the point then the mine when we thought we were certainly going to lose the map.

Anyway would love to play with any of these gentlemen again in a squad..

Again if there is already a thread to locate players please point me to it and I will repost this there.

Look for the PR Player Recommendation thread in the Tales from the Front Lines forum. With this in mind, I recommend that you post those names in that thread - it's the closest thing we have to this new thread you've proposed to create.

It's likely that this thread will be locked for that reason - don't be offended, it's just a normal procedure, much like locking a repeated suggestion.

Well, if we all had like a place to gather like a public Teamspeak server, that would be awesome.

It is just nice when you play with guys who know what they are doing and how to play the mod the way it was designed.

Use BF2Players.net: The easy way to find Battlefield 2 players and best game servers! to search for a player name you know is online.

Although the best thing to do is download and install xfire, and see if the other players also use it.

Thats a good idea. My nick is golgo13 (not google >.<) but I might change it, because I dont want to be called google. I usually have few quarrels with a random squad, although I admit, guys if there is cover like trees and such, use it and if the squads forms a line the enemy has a lot of incoming.

Why isn't there already a separate BF2 player site (not including that awful EA forum thing)?

I apologize for being so cold in the beginning - I sincerely thought this thread would have been locked by now, and I didn't really see where you were going with it. On second thought from my OP, that's a wonderful idea.

You might want to post those names in the Recommendation thread anyway, if you haven't already.
