Hi everyone

Is there any possibility the vehicles in the game could be faster? Some of the vehicles like the insurgent car, warrior, challenger, rover they feel slow, for what they live counterpart should be able to achieve in speed. Most of British armor can achieve 40mph, and they feel like going 20mph. Sometimes in basra i'm not able to suprise enemy armor from the rear, because of how slow the bomb car is. One of the few vehicles that feel at the right speed is the insurgent technical.

Also , when i can overtake a tank at full speed with a support truck you know you've got a problem j/k I agree on your ppoints... but i would also have to say that handeling would ahve to be reduced at these high speeds , which would be a pain to code..other wise tanks and lat's etc won't be able to take them out..

They are quite fast now...the maps are bigger or your just used to those nilla DPV's

Well, I don't think you would floor it in a combat zone...maybe. Not like that, anyways.

well i think you would kick the pedal THROUGH the floor in a combat area if you are under fire and try to get away

Hence the shift turbo for cars.

Bf2 does not have a current measurement of speed.

The ingame speed-o-meter shows wrong values afaik.

Dude, bf2's HUD speed in choppers doesnt work
