how did arab states formed into a mec force and why did usa and mecs had a war for and usa vs china why know story why did these wars happend over resources or whos the most powerfull?

But really, in the end its just a game, having a storyline will only limit us in what we can do with maps, weapons etc. It is best not to have any stroyline that really tbh no one is going to care about even if we did have it and we would have to update it with every single new map etc we made, providing that we could change it to sort of sound realistic to have that map, or we would have to drop the map how ever awesome it was cos it didn't fit in the storyline.... simple enough?

As said, a storyline only limits what you can do with the game. Think of it as a skirmish mode like in many RTS games, small scenarios where anyone can win.

you dont need a story, just make it up yourslef, and besides its pretty obvious once you have a good look at all the default BF2 maps and what most of the buildings in BF2 involve...OILFIELDS, every other map involves oilfields or oil refineries. the default buildings that arn't city appartments are all refineries, warehouses, and oil wells. heres my story: US wants oil, middle eastern nations said no and banded together incase of invasion, US still want oil, China said no, GB wanted peace, russian mililtias said no.
