ATTN: New PRMM .25 players

PRMM is not vanilla BF2. Please do not use moronic vanilla tactics, such as strapping C4 to a Vodnik and ramming it into a tank, bunny hopping, dolphin diving, straying far away from your squad leader, or completely disregarding your squad leaders orders

And please follow the AAS Messages: you cannot just take any flag you want. I am just now returning to PRMM again [those DICE patches were a mess!] only to see the ol' messages still being ignored.. by entire squads. Frustrating and annoying to say the least.

Also, do not punish teamkillers. I'm sick of people running in front of my SAW while I'm firing at enemies and then punishing me

Note, in parallel with Cerberus' statment, C4 does NOT do damage to heavily armored vehicles, its real life use is for structure demolition (in large quantities) and breaching of doors and other entrance points (in smaller quantities).
Recommended uses for C4 in PRMM: booby traps near flags, misc. anti-infantry use, and to destroy AT emplacments.

I've had the worst game experiences in my prmm history today because of all the new players. I do understand that it's an adjustment, but today was rediculous. This is not to say that every new player is bad, but there were a few that drove me insane. I was shot by one repeteadly, then he ran round a corner and finished me. It was an accident so I forgave and he revived me. Right after, I saw a sniper far off in the distance, I took a couple of shots and must have nailed him because I got a "cease fire!" I apologized, explained myself, he bled to death, and I was punished. He got revived and as I passed him he shot around me threateningly. One round I had to stop a squadmate from doing a jihad jeep, thankfully he was reasonable. The peak was a guy who blew up me and another guy because he didn't get into the chopper we were in.
So to all you new players, all I ask for you guys is to try to be respectful. You'll realize quickly how important it is to squad up and work as a team. If you go lone wolf you'll get the worse end of the 35 sec spawn time often.

There won't be any change thanks to prayers or talk about good morale. The only way to make ppl do in a certain way is tough conditions and strict rules. Make spawntime 1 minute and the newbies will adapt or continue with vanilla. Making 2 shots mean death is another alternative, had to take 3-5 shots today to bring some infidels to justice, that's just too much.

Hi everyone, my name is Symo and im from australia i have just joined up.
This is the first time i have heard of Project reality, and i have to say im excited about this, BF2 vanilla got annoying for all the obvious reasons, i enjoy the teamwork side of this game, employing tactics etc, i do have some experience in this as i served 3 years in the royal australian army so i know how things work basically, thought id say hi and hope to see some of you out there on the battlefield.

1 of them? you are jokeing right? how much feedback can i get from my speakers?
get a proper headset with the mic attached to the headphones and it go intront of your mouth. that way there will be NO feedback and you do not get echos of other guys talking on TS.
Also i agree about the above 100%. I hate the new stupid car bombers that i would exspect to see in vBF2 in a match but in PRMM it is just a BIG NO!
Also hi new players that want to work as a team

Well, that one costs about 20 bucks, I have that particular Logitech USB microphone, and there is no feedback and great quality sound, and I dont have some uncomfortable headset on like a telemarketer, I have 5.1 surround sound, it works great. Clear. I really can't stand headsets, sorry.

Look at the top left part of the screen for information on what point to capture next

I have tryed this very same mic before, and i got a tone of feedback just from having it sitting on my desk. It makes TS/Vent impossibal to use. just get a good quility headset

One important note: Please watch your fire.
I was USMC, and my squad moved into the east CP while the rest of the team was firing over the valley at the CP. I sneaked to the west of the building and took aim when I was shot by an over-zealous suppressionist. I don't ever punish in this Mod, as I know how easy it is to be killed by accidents... but i did then. I was the last man left alive in that CP and I wanted some revenge on my trigger happy teammate.
Also - don't shoot vehicles if you want a lift. One person (I won't bother to name them) shot at me as I drove off, obviously thinking that bullets were a far more effective hitchiking tool than pressing Q. Needless to say, he did not get a lift. Because i'm nasty like that.

My feelings exactly. I'm no genius but it seemed like the concepts of prmm appeared as rocket science to 90% of the people running around @ Glory Houndz server.I'm not meaning to dis anybody but is it possible that the skills necessary are to demanding for most players? I guess I'm just looking for a reason as to why the foolish squadless behaviour.

Hi!
I have had my first hours of PRMM expierience and i must say, I am very impressed. For the first time it feels like real shooting. Thanks to your sounds and changes!

(thank you for making the support fit for action!)
Its a bit unusually for me to not see what got me, or if i got him, but after a while it was extreme fun to play also cause of the teamplay on your server. I just can say "Thats the way Battlefield should have been"
But there are 2 things i dislike a bit. First of all the long spawn times (i think 15 sec would be enough) which can be boring after 1-2 hours played.
And the second thing, which hit me very hard was the castration of the Anti Tank cause i loved to play AT in Vanilla but now only with that pistol its no fun at all. Iwould like to see him with a SMG again!

I hope that the sniper class will be removed/limited in the next updates cause there are way to much snipers around than i like it. I think its enough that there are so many support gunners.
I am looking forward on your next updates and with the 0.25 I am BF addicted again!
