I believe this exploit is present in many of the vanilla buildings. I put the SF grappling hook into my cheap single player mod to try my hand at modding, then tossed the hook into the windows.
I had the same glitch you experienced. There are statics that can block these windows so this can be prevented in the BFEditor. It's mec_window_blocker.

hehehe knew he would do that,
I would never abuse maps with exploits like that.. that type of glitching is just ghey, I seemed to be the only person around me to have it ever effected me directly, 20 deaths on jalabad because of it, think it actually happened to me more than once.
